Today, as we welcome the new year 2026, we reflect upon a path that has never been the product of fleeting circumstances nor the outcome of contingent efforts, but rather the culmination of a strategic choice grounded in sustained work, conscious discipline, and the full and unequivocal assumption of responsibility—without justification or evasion. The past year represented a pivotal stage in VERITAL’s trajectory, not only because of the magnitude of the challenges encountered, but above all because of their nature and depth. From the outset, the issue was clear: to be an institution governed by the logic of continuity and seriousness, or to be reduced to a mere marginal figure on the fringes of the economy. Through a firmly established collective awareness, we chose to stand at the heart of action rather than on its periphery. Throughout the year, VERITAL’s activities did not consist of a mechanical accumulation of tasks; they constituted the concrete expression of a vision that respects time, optimizes resource management, and places genuine performance above all other considerations. This is a vision in which results are not measured solely by what is achieved, but by how it is achieved and by the lasting effects it generates for the institution, its environment, and the mutual trust within it. The fundamental strength of this journey draws its source from you—the women and men workers—through the professional commitment you have demonstrated, your heightened sense of responsibility, and your deep understanding that belonging to VERITAL is not limited to an employment relationship, but represents effective participation in building a reference institution that prioritizes credibility over profit and seriousness over any form of pretension. We also wish to express our appreciation for the responsible role assumed by our social partners, who have demonstrated that balanced dialogue, when conducted with reason of state and a spirit of responsibility, evolves from a mere instrument of negotiation into a genuine lever of stability and productivity. In recalling this journey, we naturally situate it within its legitimate framework: that of a country that was neither built through improvisation nor protected by chance, but founded on sacrifice, sustained by determination, and which today continues the work of nation-building through the intelligence of its citizens and the commitment of its institutions. It is a country where genuine service begins in the workplace, through daily discipline and respect for the value of effort. In this context, we express our profound esteem for the leadership of the nation, foremost among them the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to whom we extend our best wishes for success in fulfilling the heavy responsibility entrusted to him. We also reaffirm our unwavering attachment to the People’s National Army, heir to the National Liberation Army, guarantor of national sovereignty and faithful guardian of the country’s security and stability. We approach the coming year with the determination that it will be a year of consolidating achievements, deepening performance, and genuinely elevating the level of responsibility.
